I haven't shot a 20 gauge Beretta, but the 686 that I have in 12 gauge compares more to my 20 gauge Citori, than to a 12 gauge Citori. I tried the Fausti Class too, but was neutral on it despite nice appearance. 12 gauge Citoris are a good heavy gun for sporting shooting. vs the Browning 20 ga. The new mechanical trigger would in theory be better for sub gage tubes. Despite being a "Beretta guy" to put it mildly I went with the Cynergy. I also owned a cx and that was a great gun also. I like the slimmer beretta, and I like how berettas are built to be rebuilt. When I got my first "good " gun is tried both.
